Welcoming idea: Center established at Cassadaga location

A new Welcome Center at Valley Outdoors provides brochures and information about all county eco-tourist destinations, accommodations, restaurants, event venues, park and nature activities, sporting activities and more.

CASSADAGA — Valley Outdoors is the new easy access location for countywide travelers to see all the Village of Cassadaga has to offer.

The Cassadaga Community & Business Alliance (CCBA) recently announced the opening of a new Welcome Center at Valley Outdoors sporting goods store for all county-wide vacation travelers.

The center is located in the village, providing brochures and information about all county eco-tourist destinations, accommodations, restaurants, event venues, park and nature activities, sporting activities and more. Information about local Cassadaga and surrounding community events can also be distributed and promoted.

“Valley Outdoors is proud to be home to the welcome center,” said owner Adam Diate. “We are centrally located on one of the busiest highways in Chautauqua County and our merchandise and store setting provides the perfect backdrop for residents and visitors to find all the information they need to have a fun filled tourist experience.”

Pam Forge, Owner and President of Forge Ahead Promotions, Inc., manages the information fulfillment for the self-service center promoting 50 locations throughout Chautauqua County and the Seneca Nation Cattaraugus Territory.

“We are very happy to not only help our visitors, but our residents learn about a lot of fun things to see and do in the region,” said Forge. “Valley Outdoors and the CCBA are great partners in helping promote our local tourism assets.”

The Welcome Center is open during Valley Outdoor business hours, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. through 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. The Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau (CCVB) assisted in the development and planning.

“As the inaugural project for the CCBA, our team was so excited to collaborate with Valley Outdoors, the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau, and Forge Ahead Promotions to bring this vision to reality, efficiently and effectively,” said Cassadaga Community & Business Alliance Founder, Kim Collins.

The CCBA was established to focus on economic activation in Cassadaga that positively manages business growth and enhances quality of life. Visit Cassadaga-cba.com or Cassadaga Community & Business Alliance on Facebook. Design work was provided by Blue Tomato Design.
