Sales include closed restaurants, new ministry in Westfield

The former JoJo Asian Cafe has been sold and will become 3 Lakes Cafe, a coffee shop, in late May.

Two closed restaurants in Northern Chautauqua County have been sold, with one of them scheduled to open as a new restaurant next month.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate transactions in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from Jan. 1-10.

During that time period, Kei Ping Yeung sold 11 S. Main St., Cassadaga to Landean Holdings, LLC of Cassadaga for $210,000. This is the former JoJo’s Asian Cafe.

JoJo’s Asian Cafe announced earlier this year on Facebook that their former restaurant building had been sold and would become 3 Lakes Cafe, a coffee shop. 3 Lakes Cafe has its own Facebook page and states that they will be opening on Memorial Day weekend.

In a separate sale, 5377 West Lake Road, LLC of Tonawanda sold 5377 West Lake Road, Pomfret to Michael Young for $248,500. This is the location of Fireside Manor.

In an email with Journey Inn Ministries, Inc. representatives say they are relocating their ministry from Arizona to Westfield. “We are keeping Gold Brook Farm a Bed and Breakfast for at least two years. In the meantime our ministry called Journey Inn Ministries is dedicated to helping people live a healthier and more Christian life. We help people get to use therapies for a discounted rate learn about eating and growing food organically and help minister to those already in ministry. For example, one of our goals here is to have a retreat for pastors and church staff, to make them feel relaxed and rejuvenated in a loving Christian home,” they wrote.

They said they don’t expect the ministry portion to be operating until around August and will share more information when they get closer.

In a different commercial sale, County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency sold a parcel on Sherman Road, Ripley to ConnectGen Chautauqua County, LLC for $56,000. This sale was previously announced at a county IDA meeting.
