Grape Festival making return to Westfield
WESTFIELD — The second annual Grape Festival will be on Sept. 7 and 8 in Westfield.
With 21 wineries along the 50 miles of Lake Erie shoreline it all leads to ground zero of the Concord Grape belt Westfield.
Westfield was the home of Welch’s first plant and is now headquarters of the National Grape Cooperative Association.
The Grape Discovery Center offers 150 years of grape growing in the region
This festival will feature vineyards and wineries from all over New York and other states as well.
Westfield Development Corp. Executive Director Don McCord noted, “They are looking for vendors and volunteers to be a part of this exciting festival.”
