A credit union is relocating one of its branches to Fredonia.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate transactions in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from March 20-31.

During that time period, Lab 264, LLC of Rochester sold 264 E. Main St., Fredonia to Western Division Federal Credit Union for $169,900. The building used to house Express Employment Professionals.

The credit union has two locations – West Sixth Street, Dunkirk and Main Street, Williamsville. According to a manager with Western Division, the Dunkirk office will be relocating to the newly purchased East Main Street building. The move is expected to take place sometime in the fall.

In a separate sale, Forestville Dev, LLC of Forestville sold 6 Main St., Forestville, to 205 Brothers, LLC of Buffalo for $148,000. The building appears to be vacant. It was once the office of the late Paul Meyerhoff, a dentist that practiced in Forestville for nearly 50 years up until his death in October, 2022.

Also during this time period, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation sold 10 parcels on East Middle and Center Lane roads, Sheridan to GSS Landholdings, LLC of Fredonia for $465,000. The parcels total around 174 acres of land.

Including the sale previously mentioned, from March 20-31, there were six sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 8 Marthas Vineyard Drive, Pomfret sold for $330,000.

– 9 Reese Parkway, Fredonia sold for $289,900.

– 208 Maplecrest Ave., Busti sold for $255,000.

– 2363 West lake Road, Busti sold for $250,000.
