Pagano Reunion filled with celebration

Tommy Tedesco is recognized for his 100th birthday.

The 68th Pagano Family Reunion was held in July at Willow Creek Winery. There were more than 100 family members in attendance, traveling from various parts of New York as well as Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Festivities started with a generous welcome, followed by prayers and a blessing given by Paul Carlson. A catered meal from Sunset Bay Restaurant was served at 1 p.m.

The Caine family kept the kids busy with games, prizes and a pinata.

The competitive horseshoe tournament saw a new champion team of Chris Pagano and Jon Bonner. Second place team winners were Steve Pagano and Bob George. The horseshoe tournament was organized by Bruce Valvo.

Recognition prizes were given out to various attendees. But the highlight was the recognition of the oldest male in attendance, Tom Tedesco, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday! Reunion attendees serenaded him with a birthday song, and then all enjoyed birthday cake to celebrate him.
