Warrior Relief Fund benefit Saturday

The Warrior Relief Fund is hosting its second annual veterans benefit Saturday at the Sheridan VFW post.

Doors open at 3 p.m. There will be a raffle ticket sale and drawing with more than $4,000 in prizes, a large basket raffle, 50-50 tickets, and music provided by the Friends. There will be food available. The Warrior Relief Fund will also have new merchandise for sale.

The fund is a local non-profit organization that seeks to raise money for veterans. Founded by Jeff Feinen in 2023, the group operates under the umbrella of the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.

In its inaugural year, the Warrior Relief Fund has hosted a golf tournament, a motorcycle run, and last year’s raffle ticket sale and benefit. The fund operates solely through donations and volunteerism.

“The vast majority of our money comes from the support of our local individuals and businesses,” Feinen said. “I am overwhelmed by the support we have received in our first year. The generosity shown to us has far exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank everyone enough for helping us to be successful.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
