Brocton schools names April top students

BROCTON – Students of the month for April have been announced by the Brocton Central Schools.

The faculty and staff at Brocton Middle School announced that Aubree DeJesus has been selected as the Middle School student. Aubree is currently a seventh-grader residing in Portland with her parents, Jennifer DeJesus and Evelio DeJesus.

She participates in softball. She is a member of the middle school band and chorus. Aubree’s favorite subject is science. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends at the park.

In the future, Aubree aspires to be a photographer or artist. She plans to attend SUNY Fredonia to study photography.

Brocton High School announced that Owen Pryll has been selected. A freshman, he is the proud son of Tammi Huntoon and Shaun Huntoon. He is a member of the Varsity Basketball and Baseball teams.

Owen has been named to the Honor Roll throughout his middle and high school career. His favorite subject is Global Studies 9, and he enjoys studying history in his free time.

In the future, he plans to attend college to play baseball.
