Dunkirk Town Hall meeting set for Thursday

Public servants do best when they receive public input. That’s what the Town of Dunkirk is trying to facilitate.
The Town of Dunkirk will be hosting an open meeting for residents to share their thoughts and concerns regarding the town on Thursday at 6 p.m., at the Dunkirk Town Hall and Courthouse located at 4737 Willow Road.
The Town Board held a similar meeting a year ago, which was well-attended and featured approximately an hour of discussion.
The Town states on its official website that the meeting is “aimed at shaping the future of our town.”
The forum aims to “provide a platform for open, constructive dialogue, focusing on upcoming projects and initiatives that will enhance the quality of life in Dunkirk.”
Issues of note in the Town of Dunkirk in recent months include recent and further development, such as Popeyes, Starbucks, and potentially 7 Brew; the ongoing process to move forward with the Shorewood water project; and the potential for a new Town Hall site.
