Fredonia is running a negative net income in two of three budget lines, village Treasurer Erlyssa LeBeau said last week.

LeBeau offered a report on village finances as of the end of April at a Board of Trustees meeting. She stated the village’s general fund income stood at a deficit of $319,229.

The sewer fund has a negative net income of $266,068. The only fund in the red is the water fund, by $157,352 at the end of April.

LeBeau stated that she has begun uploading her reports to the village website. Some of the treasurer’s reports were indeed accessible on the village website Wednesday, under the “File Share” tab. The latest report is for November 2024, as of Wednesday.
