Westfield Fund drive entering final 30 days

The Westfield Fund is a community-based fund held by the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.
The Westfield Fund 100, 100, 100 fund drive is in its final 30 days.
The Westfield Fund is a community based fund held by Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. All monies donated to the fund are held in the trust to be used to help sustain and provide support for our not-for-profit organizations in Westfield. These not-for-profit organizations are the backbone of the community and sometimes they have a need for a little extra so they can fulfill their missions.
This is our second year of the 100 days, 100 people, $100 campaign. In 2024 the fund was able to meet its goal and add to The Westfield Fund endowment, enabling us to increase funds available to grant. As the fund grows so does the ability to provide additional support to community organizations. The interest from the fund provides the monies we give to the community, therefore the more money we have the more we can invest in the stability of our community.
The TWF is two-thirds of the way through this year’s campaign and the community is once again showing its generosity.
Organizers are urging people and organizations to consider contributing to the cause and help us reach our goal. Donations to TWF are tax deductible under IRS code 501(c)3 and grant awards go directly back into the community.
Most recently the fund granted $1,000 to Centaur Stride Therapeutic Horse Center. This money helps them pay for the students to get hands on therapy with the horses. Please see the articles that appear each week in our local papers for more information about this important facility that we are pleased to have here. In the past the fund has granted monies to Union Relief, The Westfield YWCA, Lake Shore Center for the Arts for the large mural on Main Street, Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, and the Stray Cat rescue.
We would like to acknowledge those that have already donated to the campaign this year as we are most grateful. We are grateful for all donations from $50 to $1,000, it all helps.
