Motor Trendz in Westfield will be temporarily closed due to the recent health issues of its owner, Lincoln Kneer. Along with auto repairs, there is a small dealership there.
Lincoln has Stage 3 esophageal cancer and recently underwent surgery at Roswell, which appears to be successful so far.
The plan is for Motor Trendz to reopen in early 2026.
The Kneer family would like to extend a sincere and very heartfelt thank you to the American Legion Post 327 and its incredible staff, patrons, and devoted friends and family that all tirelessly organized the recent Pancake and Waffle Benefit at the post.

Several local businesses and organizations made donations over the course of several months to a Chinese Auction at the benefit that included over 160 baskets, several weekly raffles at the club, a delicious bake sale, a can drive and very generous gift certificates from their businesses for the auction in hopes of helping the Kneers with their financial expenses they are enduring while the shop is closed.
Lincoln’s two sons, Brayden and Colton, are charter captains on Lake Erie. During the benefit tickets were sold for nine charter trips. Charters included Lake Affect Fishing Charters, Knot Right Fishing Charters, Ready or Knot Charters, Lured Away Sport Fishing, Westfield Charters, Spooled Up Charters, Fishaholic Sport Fishing, Limit Takers Sportfishing, and Brown’s Redneck Sportfishing. In addition, Westfield Fisheries donated gift cards to each charter recipient for their delicious food.
StrayKat Karaoke was present at the benefit and graciously donated time to represent Lincoln while he was unable to attend due to his health.
“To say that we have a wonderful community is an understatement,” Rachel said.
She added their family will be forever grateful for the love and continued support received during this difficult battle.
