UPDATE: One individual was flown by helicopter; another sought treatment at a hospital.

Fire departments and first responders were at the Fredonia McDonald’s after a fire and explosion at the restaurant around 10:20 p.m. Sunday. One individual was taken by helicopter for medical treatment another was taken to a local hospital. Fredonia Fire Department extinguished the blaze inside the restaurant. Dunkirk Fire Department was also on the scene.
