Lifetime area resident Lois Barris celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday, Oct. 17 at the White Inn in Fredonia. All her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were there to celebrate with many friends and relatives. “The party was amazing and so is she,” the family reported. Another celebration was held on Oct. 18 welcoming former students and acquaintances. She served as a gym and health teacher, a Sunday school teacher and scout leader and authored a number of books on genealogy.
