The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Nov. 21-26.

During this time period, Knights of Columbus Club 929 Inc. sold 302 Lynx St., Dunkirk to Wilmot Brothers Enterprises, LLC of Dunkirk for $145,000. This is now the home of Angry Bird BBQ, LLC. Angry Bird BBQ had been solely a food truck but became a sit-down restaurant in July.

The Knights of Columbus Club Council 929 meets monthly at The Lord’s Vineyard Center, 296 Lake Shore Drive E., Dunkirk.

In a separate sale, 3732 Lakeview Ave., Pomfret was sold for $2,922,000. This is a newly constructed warehouse. According to Cove Capital Investments’ website, which lists the building, this is a 6,000 square foot built-to-suit distribution facility for Frito-Lay, constructed in 2024, with five loading docks.

Also during this time, 937 Rt. 394 West, Poland was sold to Chautauqua Area Produce Auction, Inc. of Panama for $350,000. This is the location of the former 84 Lumber Warehouse Showroom. The building currently appears vacant.

Including the sales previously listed, from Nov. 21-26, there were 12 sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 1171 Stewart Ave., Hanover sold for $570,000.

– 3585 Mary Ellen Drive, Ellery sold for $439,900.

– 10097 Center Road, Sheridan sold for $420,000.

– Two vacant parcels on Route 5, Sheridan sold for $350,000. They total about 5.7 acres of land.

– 79 Fairwood Drive, Lakewood sold for $300,000.

– 278 Manchester Road, Jamestown sold for $299,900.

– Condominium Unit No. GB, Arlington Cottage, Chautauqua Institution sold for $295,000.

– 4029 Gerry Levant Road, Gerry sold for $275,000.

– 8 Stoneman Ave., Lakewood sold for $264,900.
