An empty factory has once again changed hands.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Dec. 1-5.

During this time period, Lynn Development Inc. of Jamestown sold 1088-1132 Allen St., Jamestown and Ellicott to IWF Holdings, LLC of Celoron for $600,000.

Lynn Development previously owned that property and sold it to Prestige Property Rentals in May, 2022.

The Jamestown developer bought it back from Prestige Property Rentals in November, 2024 for $550,180.

Back in the 1990s, the property was owned by Bush Industries.

Including the sale previously mentioned, from Dec. 1-5 there were six sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 3973 Rt. 430, Ellery sold for $425,000.

– 3282 Rt. 430, Ellery sold for $385,000.

– 156 Sea Lion Drive, Mayville sold for $380,000.

– 8765 Center Road, Arkwright sold for $365,000.

– 4539 Berry Road, Pomfret sold for $285,000.
