Scholar of Month named by Rotary

Morganne Kelley

Morganne Kelley, a senior, was named the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club Scholar of the Month representing Brocton Central School. She has two older sisters and is the daughter of Kathryn

and Tyler Gustafson and Christopher and Jessica Kelley. Morganne has a cumulative average of 96.50, has achieved honor roll regularly during school and is ninth in her graduating class.

During her sophomore year of high school, she was inducted into the National Honor

Society. Throughout this time Morganne has completed volunteer work such as a Veterans Breakfast and cleaning the Seventh Day Adventist Church which is located in Brocton.

At Brocton, Morganne is interested in her science and history classes that she is a part of.

Throughout the classes Morganne has created long lasting relationships with current and past teachers that have greatly encouraged her to succeed in the future. Morganne has received multiple honors during her time at LoGuidice BOCES including Most Improved and Outstanding Student, where she is a part of the Health Careers program. Morganne is also a part of the National Technical Honor Society at BOCES. During her time at BOCES she has created long lasting memories and created new relationships with other students from different districts that will continue to impact her life.

Throughout her time as a student, Morganne has held a part-time job that started in the restaurant business and now continues at Tops Friendly Markets of Fredonia. Morganne has been praised by colleagues for being an effective employee when helping customers or doing tasks around the store.

After graduating from Brocton Central School, Morganne will be continuing her education

at Le Moyne College in Syracuse. At Le Moyne, she will receive her Associates in Applied

Science and Bachelors of Science in Nursing through the Dual Degree Partnership in

Nursing (DDPN) program over the course of four years
