Dunkirk man facing sex crimes charges involving children

A Dunkirk man is facing charges connected to sex crimes against children.

New York State Police at Fredonia reported its Bureau of Criminal Investigation charged Terry M. Reynolds, 38, with felony predatory sexual assault against a child, first-degree felony rape, felony promoting a sexual performance by a child, felony possessing a sexual performance by a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Friday.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Fredonia barracks, with the assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the city of Dunkirk. That investigation determined Reynolds possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography. In addition, it was determined that live victims associated with the pornographic material were located and deposed. During the arrest and search, Reynolds possessed methamphetamine.

He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for Central Arraignment.
