Dunkirk’s music series is canceled tonight.

Music in Memorial Park is not happening due to thunderstorms and heavy rain, the city’s Festivals and Special Events division posted on social media. It was supposed to be “Canadian Night.”

There was no word on rescheduling of the event. There are two rain dates at the end of the city’s music series calendar.

A strong line of storms came up Chautauqua County’s Lake Erie coastline after 1 p.m. There was minor street flooding observed in Fredonia and reported in Dunkirk.
