Forestville man charged in May altercation in Sheridan
A Forestville resident is facing charges after an altercation from last month.
At roughly 09:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office conducted an ongoing investigation in Forestville, regarding a past-tense altercation that had occurred on May 6 in the town Of Sheridan. Upon further investigation it was found that 28-year-old Dakota C. Wilson allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another individual. Wilson was charged with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Wilson was being held in the Chautauqua County Jail and will participate in the Centralized Arraignment Program where he will face these charges at a later date and time in the Town Of Sheridan Court.
