Threats in Hanover lead to charges for Hanover man
HANOVER — An incident early Friday with a weapon has led to charges.
Around 12:01 a.m., members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an altercation. Through an investigation it was found that 38-year-old Jamar Fountain or Irving to have intentionally placed a person of reasonable fear of serious physical injury by displaying a deadly weapon.
Fountain was located a short time later and taken into custody on second-degree harassment and second-degree menacing charges. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Central Arraignment Program.
