Brocton names top students for September

BROCTON — Students of the month for September have been announced by the Brocton Central Schools.

Yaeliz Alvarez, a 10th-grader from Brocton, was named for Brocton High School. She is the daughter of Luis Alvarez and Zayly Heyliger. She participates in volleyball, band and chorus. She has attended All County every year since fifth grade. English is her favorite subject. Outside class, she enjoys writing, drawing and talking. She hopes to attend college in the future.

Lyla Camacho, an eighth-grader from Brocton, was named for Brocton Middle School. Lyla is the daughter of Tiffany Edwards and Hector Camacho. She plays volleyball and participates in band. Her favorite subject is social studies. She plans to become an ultrasound technician.
