Members of the Fredonia Fire Department and law enforcement pose for a photo Saturday before holding an open house for the residents. In a Facebook post, the department thanked “everyone who came and enjoyed the activities, demonstrations and old fashioned fun. Special thanks to the committee who did a great job.” In addition, the department recognized its own Capt. Dan Aldrich, who also serves with the County Rescue Team, for being named Chautauqua County Firefighter of the Year.
