David G. Tubbs

He was born May 27, 1958 in Plattsburg, N.Y., the son of Douglas O. Sr. and Shirley Mae Davies Tubbs. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He had been employed as a water well driller with Emke Well Drilling, and earlier had worked with his father at S. & D. Tubbs Water Well Drilling.

Always a hard worker, he loved his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and vegetable gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Gail J. Willis Tubbs, whom he married Jan. 23, 1981; three sons: David G. (Rebecca) Tubbs, Jr. of Buford, Ga., Wesley A. Tubbs of Colonial Beach, Va., and Brian D. (Brianna) of Blacksville, Va.; two grand-daughters: Madeline and Amelia Tubbs of Buford, Ga.; three brothers: Orie, Ronald, and Douglas Tubbs, Jr.; and two sisters: Sue Connell and Gail Hayes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph B. Tubbs; a sister, Marilyn R. Conrad; and by a brother, Larry Champang.
