William A. Gloff
William A. Gloff, 62, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away and went to the arms of his Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Hospice Buffalo, Cheektowaga, N.Y.
He was born on June 14, 1953 in Dunkirk, N.Y. the son of the late Arthur C. and Mary (Rosiek) Gloff.
He attended school in Dunkirk and graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1971.
He held many jobs throughout his life, including working for Texas Instruments, Roblin Steel Co. and Fieldbrook Foods, Inc. He was employed as a cook, a job he truly loved, for the City Mission and Cornerstone Manor in Buffalo, N.Y., where he has worked the last 10 years.
He loved walking and fishing and enjoyed times spent with his many friends and loved ones. He was truly an inspiration to people he met.
He is survived by: a daughter Summer and a son Arthur; a sister Shirley (John) Ward of Raleigh, N.C., a sister Karen (William) Zoeller of Marion, Indiana; also many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his nephew Joshua of Fredonia, N.Y., who helped care for him, along with the Hospice Buffalo staff, 225 Como Park Blvd., (P.O. Box 590) Cheektowaga, NY 14225.

A Celebration of Life will be held later and will be announced and posted for anyone wishing to attend.
