Laura Lee Edwards
GOWANDA – Laura Lee Edwards of Chestnut Street passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 22, 2016 at home. She was 63 years old.
Born December 2, 1952 in Alexandria, Virginia, the daughter of the late William L. and Alice M. (Congdon) Edwards.
Laura was a 1971 graduate of GCS. After graduation, Laura served two years with the U.S. Army and spent most of her adult life in Florida. She moved back to Gowanda four years ago.
Laura is survived by two sons, Bryan and Michael Williams; along with a brother, Michael (Deborah) Edwards of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; two sisters, Anne (William) Kilroy of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Elizabeth Dicembre of Collins. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Laura was preceded in death by a brother, William R.C. Edwards.
A family graveside service will take place in the spring when Laura will be laid to rest in the family plot of the Pine Hill Cemetery.
