Donald W. St. George

Donald W. St. George, of Fredonia, N.Y., age 48, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute after a brief courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 26, 1968 to the late Anthony and Nance (Bianca) St. George.

Raised in Fredonia, Don attended Fredonia Schools and graduated from Fredonia High School and Jamestown Community College. He was the assistant manager of the Tractor Supply Store on Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk at the time of his passing.

Donald had many interest, but especially enjoyed camping, traveling and had a true love of music. Above all, Donald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by three sisters: Barbara (Frank) Flagella of Fredonia, N.Y., Mary Lou (Douglas) Jaffray of Dunkirk, N.Y. and Carole (William) Centner of Fredonia, N.Y.; his brother, Steven St. George of Fredonia; and his sister-in-law, Shelly St. George of Fredonia, N.Y.; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Anthony J. “Nin” St. George.

Family and friends may call today from 5-8 p.m. at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, N.Y., where a funeral service will be held Monday at noon with Father Daniel Walsh officiating. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
