Grayson J. Smith

CATTARAUGUS – Grayson J. Smith of Mosher Hollow passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Roswell ark Cancer Inst. in Buffalo. He was 67. Grayson was born in Gowanda July 22, 1949, the son of Gerald and Clara (Sinn) Smith. He honorably served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Grayson was employed with WNYDDSO; he worked out of the state-run group home in Little Valley at the time of his retirement. Grayson’s state em-ployment spanned 30 years. Grayson is survived by his former wife Cheryl and daughter Tiffany L. Nichols. He is also survived by grandchildren Dakota Bates and Alexis Stockwell; along with a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Ann) Case of the state of Maryland; one niece and one nephew. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Little Valley American Legion Post Number 531 at 5899 Route 353 Little Valley, NY, 716-938-6711.
