Angel G. Flores

It is with great sadness that the family of Angel G. Flores “Junito,” 45, of Dunkirk, announces his sudden passing. Angel died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Brooks Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 26, 1971 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Angel Flores and Natalia Colon-Hernandez.

Mr. Flores, a resident of Dunkirk for most of his life, was employed by Goya in Angola for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, joking around, listening to music and dancing.

Angel was preceded in death by his father, Angel Flores; and brother, Gilbert Rosado-Colon.Survivors include his mother, Natalia Colon- Hernandez of Orocovis, Puerto Rico; his children, Angel Flores of Rochester, NY; Juliann M. Salgado of North Tonawanda, NY; Angelic G. Salgado of Bay St. Louis, MS; Racheal (Ju’Quante) Salgado-Kelly of Honolulu, HI; Angel J., Nathalie M., Brandom G., and Iliana L. Flores of Dunkirk; six sisters, Nancy, Johanna, Katiria, Idalia Flores-Colon and Keisha and Keila Rosado-Colon; four brothers, Alex, Orville, Ernie Flores-Colon  and Felipe Ramos-Colon; a granddaughter, Jaslieen Salgado; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at The Iglesia Getsemani, 115 Central Avenue, Dunkirk from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Pastor Carlos Lleras will provide worship and songs of praise. Additional calling hours will be provided Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Larson-Timko Funeral Home in Fredonia. Funeral Services will be held at noon in the Larson-Timko Funeral Home. Pastor Pablo Alvira will officiate.
