Frank S. Jusko Sr.

Frank Stephen Jusko Sr., age 85, of Fredonia, N.Y., died Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Absolut of Dunkirk. Frank was born on March 3, 1932 in Dunkirk, to the late Stephen and Stella (nee Pacos) Jusko. He was raised in Dunkirk, attended Dunkirk Schools and graduated from Dun- kirk High School. Frank was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church. He was also a member of the Kosciuszko Polish Home, First Ward Falcons Club, the Beaver Club, Moniuszko Club, Don Pol- ski and Fredonia American Legion Memorial Post # 59. Frank was a steel- worker and worked at Al Tech Specialty Steel and Roblin Steel. Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen (nee Davis) Jusko; three children, Frank Jr. (fiancee Jody Scott) of Fredonia, Karen (Scott) Smith of North Carolina, and Daniel (John) Jusko, of Harris- burg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Nicole Smith and Shannon Jusko; great- grandson Grady Jusko; a brother, Walter (Delphine) Jusko; and a sister, Judy (Louis) Madera. Frank was godfather to Diane Elliott and Devon Elliott. A Mass of Christian Buri- al will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 145 E. Main Street, Fredonia, N.Y. on Tuesday at 10 a.m. (please assemble at church). No prior calling hours. Full military honors will be accorded by the Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council at the Church.
