Leonard A. Stephens

He was born May 23, 1934 in Barberton, OH, the son of the late Walter and Gladys (LaBo) Stephens.

On June 19, 1953 he married the former Emma Jean Huber, who survives.

Mr. Stephens was employed at Moench Tanning Co. in Gowanda, NY for 42 years. He graduated from Pine Valley High School. He was a member of NRA and AARP. He enjoyed hunting, camping, holidays with family and tinkering on vehicles.

Besides his loving wife of 63 years, he is survived by a son, Kevin (Sandi) Stephens of Cattaraugus, NY and two daughters, Jeanne Case of Sinclairville, NY and Debra (Joe) Kaye of Cattaraugus, NY; a grandchild, Erin Bender of Florida and two great-grandchildren, Brilee and Madelyn. Also surviving is a brother, Willis Stephens of New Albion, NY and two sisters, Carol Brain of Randolph, NY and Lois Bogardus of New Albion, NY and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Steward and Phyllis Herzog.

Private family services will be held.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
