Mildred E. Timmerman

Mildred E. Timmerman of Ripley, NY, died on February 6, 2018 at Absolut Care in Westfield, NY, following a brief illness. She was born in Lockport, NY, on December 1, 1927, to the late Floyd and Esther Falls. Mildred was 90 years old at the time of her death.

Mildred was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who wanted only the best for her family. She had been a member of the Ripley Fire Auxiliary, the VFW of Westfield, NY, and the First Presbyterian Church of Ripley, NY. Mildred enjoyed listening to country music, playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially whenever they played rousing games of 500 Rummy. For peace and relaxation, Mildred would journey to North East, PA to feed the ducks in Lake Erie.

Her survivors include two daughters, Lorraine (John) Meade of Ripley, NY and Shelia (Herb) Will of Wilson, NY; two sons, Larry Kelsy of Jamestown, NY and Wayne Kelsy of Stockton, NY; one brother, Donald Falls, and sister, Hazel Houseman, both of Lockport, NY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph W. Kelsy, her second husband Albert Timmerman, and brothers, Stanley and Thomas Falls.

Mildred’s 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ripley, NY, with the Reverend Philip Johnson officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service and may call at the Mathews Funeral Home, 104 West Main Street, Ripley, NY on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m.

Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery in Ripley, NY.
