Evelyn G. Rogers

She was born September 4, 1917 in the town of Concord the daughter of the late Byron and Hattie (Steele) Spaulding.

In May of 1937, she married Harold K. Rogers who predeceased her in 1997.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Collins Center United Methodist Church and it’s Women’s Society.

She was employed at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center and she helped raise over 25 foster children

Mrs. Rogers is survived by a son Richard (Betty Lou) Rogers of Wesley Chapel, FL, a daughter Karen (Ross) Ayers of Perrysburg, NY, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a foster daughter Mary Lou McKinley of Orchard Park, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her loving husband she was predeceased by a son Gary Rogers, brother Harold Spaulding and four sisters Ruth Hall, Bernice Parks, Bertha Church and Dorothy Fuller.

Friends may call at the Collins Center United Methodist Church on Monday March 19, 2018 from 2-3 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 19, 2018 at 3p.m. from the church.

Memorials may be made to the Collins Center United Methodist Church.
