Lucy Degaetano Spinuzza

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard of 37 years in 1992 along with her parents, Joseph and Josephine (Perillo) Degaetano, four sisters and their spouses, Rose (Joseph) Torregrossa, Mary (Ronald) Klepfer, Phina (Anthony) Flitt and Marian (Vito) Caruso.

Lucy is survived by her loving sister Patrina (Frank) Flitt and her children Robert of Palm Springs, California and Diane of Hamburg, New York. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Bradley (Kerri) Seibert, Brittany Seibert and great-granddaughter Liliana Lu. Lucy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Despite her struggle with Leukemia, Lucy was able to enjoy the constant companionship of her dear and loyal sister Pat until she went to be with the Lord. Lucy’s family would like to express gratitude to the staff of St. Columban’s Retirement Home and Chautauqua County Hospice as they made Lucy’s passing a comfortable and peaceful experience.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Lucy’s life at St. Columban’s Chapel, Silver Creek, NY, at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Lucy’s name are welcome to Chautauqua County Hospice or St. Columban’s Retirement Home on the Lake, Silver Creek, NY.
