Susan M. Imler

She was born June 23, 1955 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of the late Harlan and Ruth Maxfield.

Susan was a homemaker with an accounting degree. She enjoyed helping others and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Beaver Club in Fredonia. Susan’s love for animals was evident, especially towards her two cats Sadie and Wilburt.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey O’Connell of Fredonia; one daughter, Sarah Martinez of Mexico, MO; one brother, Tommy Maxfield of Seattle, WA; one sister, Janie Prior of Glendale, AZ; three sisters-in-law, Kitty O’Connell and Mary (Kevin) Carlson, both of Fredonia, and Trish O’Connell of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren, Tobias N. Martinez and Zoey E. Martinez, both of Fulton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
