Survivors include his wife of 63 years Elizabeth (Miller) Valvo, a son Stephen and a daughter Susan Valvo both of Silver Creek, six grandchildren, Jessie Valvo, Joshua (Patty Polvino) Valvo, Mary Valvo, Ashley (Shawn) Reese, Emily and Dominique Valvo, seven great grandchildren, Isabella, Christopher, Makayla, Madison, Delaynie, Seleyne, and Dominic.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Louis Valvo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 165 Central Ave., Silver Creek at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Flowers gratefully declined, the family suggests memorial contributions in Joe’s honor to Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity (Fr. Baker) or Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church.
