Paula M. McIntyre, age 77, formerly a resident of Dunkirk, NY passed away on June 17, 2018 at Halifax Health Hospice of West Volusia with her family by her side in Orange City, Fl after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Dunkirk, NY on August 23, 1940, daughter of the late Frank F. Gelsimino and the late Eleanor I. Sobkowiak Walker.
Paula is survived by her five children – Kelly Ballagh (Marc) of Lakeview, NY; Karen Pratt McIntyre of Orange City, FL; Kathleen Pauszek (John) of Deltona, FL; Timothy R. McIntyre Jr. (Jean) of Dripping Springs, TX; and JoAnne McIntyre Griffin (Robert) of Ridgefield, WA; grandchildren Amanda Vallone (George), Jessica Pauszek, Dana Ambrose, Aaron Ballagh (Mollie), Kyle Tatum, Meaghan Pratt, Michael McIntyre (Jordan), Kayleigh Griffin, Jake Ballagh and Brett Griffin. In addition, Paula is survived by great grandchildren Aurora Vallone, Holton Pratt, and Timothy I. McIntyre.
She was the oldest of six children and has five surviving siblings Robert Gelsimino of Vero Beach, FL; Frank Gelsimino of Westfield, NY; Jim Gelsimino of Sacramento, CA and Kathleen Krebs and Kenneth Walker of Orange City, FL.
Paula M. McIntyre is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy R. McIntyre (Mac), longtime residents of Dunkirk, NY where they raised their five children. Tim and Paula relocated to Orange City Florida in 1992.
Funeral Services for Paula M. McIntyre will be Friday, June 22, 2018 at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 East New York Avenue, DeLand, Florida. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and services will be at 12 p.m.
