Ruth Ann (Dulmus) Majcher, 68, of Silver Creek, NY died on June 2, 2018 at Lake Shore Health Care Center in Irving, NY. She was born March 29, 1950 in Westfield, NY, daughter of the late Ivan and Elizabeth (Kehrli) Dulmus.Ruth graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School, and at one time was employed at Better Baked Foods and Petrie Baking Products. She married the love of her life Marian (Mario) Majcher on October 1, 1983 in Silver Creek; he preceded her in death on October 10, 2016.Ruth was a devout Christian, loving wife, and known to her family and friends as the kindest, most loving and caring person you’ll ever know. She especially loved children; was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan; enjoyed bingo, cooking, baking, and playing pinochle; a lifetime member of Westfield William P. Jackaway Post 6764 VFW Auxiliary, food pantry volunteer at The Master’s Plan Ministries in Dayton, and member of a Cherry Creek Assembly of God “Grannies” group that met regularly for lunch.Ruth will be especially missed by her beloved Aunt Elsie Elderkin of Frewsburg and Jayden Pritchard of Cherry Creek, whom she babysat since infancy and was dear to her heart. She is survived by her son Rev. Philip V. (Tami) Majcher of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren Jonathan (Phyllis) LeRoy, Brandi (Ruben) Morales, and Sidney “J” LeRoy, Jr.; 9 great grandchildren; sisters June (Ray) Schuster and Audrey Dulmus of Westfield; brothers Bill Dulmus of Westfield and George (Bonnie) Dulmus of Erie, PA; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sister Mary Millet, maternal grandparents Albert & Lizzie Kehrli, and paternal grandparents John and Lulu Dulmus.Ruth donated her body to the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences for anatomical studies and medical research. A memorial service will be held on June 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at The Master’s Plan Ministries, 9586 Railroad Street, Dayton, NY.
