Roy S. Pattison

Roy S. Pattison, born in Silver Creek, NY, peacefully passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 in Tyler, TX. He is survived by his twin sister, Jean (Struwe); his four daughters: Dawn Lofgren (Eric), Darlene, Deborah Smith (Hugh), Darcia; his ex-wife, Florence; four grandchildren: Rob (Lynda), Matthew (Julie), David (Ale), Patrick (Allanah); six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two step sons, Donald (Valerie) and Eugene; with six step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Ruth Pattison; his brother, Burt and his wife, Norma; brothers-in-law, Glenn Struwe and John Vreeland; and ex-wife, Doris. Roy was especially proud to have served in the U.S. Army in Korea and thoroughly enjoyed the reunions with the 578th Engineering Company. He spent his career working as an electrician and was a 65-year member of the International Brothers of Electrical Workers. He was a devoted NY Yankees fan and Buffalo Bills fan. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and traveling. He will be laid to rest in Sheridan Center Cemetery in Sheridan, NY.
