Jennifer Lynn Leone (Ramos), age 33, of Amherst, N.Y., formerly of Dunkirk, N.Y., died Saturday October 13, 2018 at her Amherst, N.Y. home. Jennifer was born May 31, 1985 in Dunkirk, N.Y. to Alma Rosa Moreno and the late Ignacio “Jay” Ramos, Jr. She

grew up in Dunkirk, attended Dunkirk schools and graduated from Dunkirk High School. Jennifer graduated from the University

at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and was currently enrolled in the Masters of Social Work program at the University at Buffalo at the time of her death. She was a licensed practical nurse and was currently a case worker for

Adult Protective Services for Erie County Department of Social Services. Adventurous by nature, Jennifer loved to travel.

She especially loved the ocean and visiting California and Puerto Rico, the homeland of her parents. Jennifer and her

husband, Anthony, also enjoyed making improvements to the home they recently purchased in Amherst and exploring the many fine restaurants the Buffalo area offers. She was passionate about

health, fitness and her diet. Jennifer loved spending time with family. Above all, she loved helping people. She was a kind person with a generous spirit which help define her professional and personal life. Jennifer is survived by: her husband, Anthony R. Leone of Amherst, N.Y., whom she married May 28, 2017; her mother, Alma Rosa Moreno of Dunkirk, N.Y.; her brother, Jason

(Jennifer)Ramos of Buffalo: two sisters: Aimee Leon and Sara Leon, both of Fredonia; two nephews: Giovanni Gonzalez of Buffalo and Ryan Falco, Jr. of Fredonia; two nieces: Adrianna Falco of Fredonia and Jalisa Ramos of Buffalo. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Kathi Leone (late Frank.) Besides her

father, Ignacio Ramos, Jr., Jennifer is predeceased by her grandmother, Madeline Irizarry and her grandfather Ignacio Ramos, Sr.Calls may be made Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, N.Y.
