John Krebs

John Krebs, age 82, of Maple Springs, New York and Barefoot Bay, Florida died on Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born on February 25, 1936 to the late John Krebs Sr. and Edith Krebs. John graduated Harborcreek High School in 1954; attended Gannon College; and served in the United States Air Force. He was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator by the National Fuel Company in Erie and Jamestown. John was a member of the Peacock Lodge No. 696 F&AM Masonic in Mayville, NY and the Ismailia Shrine Temple AAONMS in Buffalo, NY. He attended the First Baptist Church in Mayville. John enjoyed coaching little league, softball, and was involved with Special Olympics. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. (Doolittle) Krebs and a son, Randy Krebs. John is survived by his sons, John Krebs of Falconer, NY and Terry Krebs (Kandi) of Ripley; daughter, Kim Kozak (Mark) of Greenville, SC; a brother, William Krebs of TX; a sister, June Thomas of CA; grandchildren, Michael Krebs of TX, Jerry Krebs of Harborcreek, Kristofer Kozak of SC, Zachery Kozak of SC, Ally Krebs of Ripley, Danny Ficarra of Ripley, and Ryan Snarski of Bemus Point.; great-grandchildren, Savannah Kozak, Kirra Bella Snarski, and Sydney Kozak. Private interment will be held at Bemus Point Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals For Children – Greenville, 950 West Faris Road,
