Justin C. Matteson, 29, of Dunkirk died Saturday (Jan. 5, 2019) at home. He was born on Aug 8, 1989 in Dunkirk, the son of William E. (Julie Lynn) Matteson of Fredonia and Shelley (Pawloski) Matteson of Dunkirk.A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Justin was a graduate of Dunkirk High School. He had been employed at the Clarion Hotel and also worked construction.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three children, Jaimyn, Jema and Marilyn Matteson; three brothers, Sean, Kahlil and Cameron Matteson; and paternal grandmother, G. Mary
Matteson of Fredonia.He was preceded in death by his paternal grand-father, Wesley Matteson; and his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Patricia Pawloski.Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 11 o’clock in Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia. The Rev. Jim La-Barr will officiate. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Family appreciative of assistance with paying for funeral expenses.
