Thomas J. Mroczka

Thomas J. Mroczka, 76, of Fredonia, died Saturday evening, December 29, 2018, at Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born in Dunkirk,, April, 29, 1942, son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Kokocinski) Mroczka. A retired employee of the City of Dunkirk, where he worked as the Payroll Clerk for over 30 years. Tom enjoyed woodworking, traveling, playing suduko and cribbage. Tom loved to tell a good story and had a great sense of humor which always had

friends and family laughing at some of his tall tales and short anecdotes. He had a joy for cooking and a love

for a great Barbeque and a cold brew.His memberships include Holy Trinity R.C. Church, and the Sheridan VFW.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years Judith V. (Torgeson) Mroczka, whom he married July 18, 1964, daughters Kathleen (Greg)

Giambrone of Fredonia, Michelle Mroczka of Dunkirk, beloved cat “Sterling”, Brother in law Kirk Nickerson, nephews Mark Nickerson, Matthew Nickerson. Preceded in death in addition to his parents is his sister Judith Nickerson. Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. i Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk.
