Linda L. Gugino, 67, of Fredonia, NY; on Friday April 5, 2019 the world lost its forever spring flower. Linda died at her home surrounded by her loving family; she was born June 3, 1951 in Dunkirk, NY to the late Louis A. and Delores (Buckley) Gugino. Linda lit up any room she entered. She touched so many lives with her love and laughter. Linda loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a sweet friend, loyal sister, “Grandma Linda” to many and most importantly a dear and loving mom. Linda loved gardening, sewing, quilting and spending time with family and friends.
This is not goodbye but see you later. Linda is survived by: a daughter Jennifer Zappie of Chicago, Il; two sons: Michael (Jennifer) McKinnon of Fredonia, NY and James (Kristin) Zappie of Brocton, NY; grandchildren: Brody McKinnon of Buffalo, NY, Cooper McKinnon of Fredonia, NY, Lily and Anthony Zappie of Brocton, NY; two brothers: James Gugino of Bemus Point, NY and Richard Gugino of Fredonia, NY and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Linda is predeceased by two
grandchildren: Dawson and Clayton McKinnon and a sister in-law Nancy Gugino.Linda was laid to rest with a private family service on Monday, April 8 at Forest Hill Cemetery. A Celebration of Life
ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 12 noon at St. Joseph Church, 145 E. Main Street, Fredonia, NY.
