Mary Jane Crowell
Mary Jane Crowell, 94, a resident of Fredonia Place, Howard Street, Fredonia, formerly of South Dayton, died Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at her residence. She was born in the Town of Portland, on September 20, 1924.
Mother of Terry (Donna) Crowell, of South Dayton; Barbara (George Czumaj) Marowski, of Angola; Betty Crowell, of Brocton; Brenda (Gerald) West, of Hamburg; Briget (Jeffery) Johnson, of Perrysburg, son-in-law Charles Johnson of Cattaraugus, sister of Tom (Jessie) Farnham of Mayville and Fred (Shirley) Farnham of Stockton. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Lulu (Woods) Farnham, her husband Walter R. Crowell, a daughter Bonnie Johnson, sister Gladys Woleben and two brothers William & George Farnham.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Saturday, April 20th from 10-11 a.m. where a Memorial Service will follow at 11 o’clock, with Rev. James Witherington, Jr., Hospice chaplain, officiating. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made either to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W.
