Sally Aranzullo
Sally (Gens) Aranzullo passed away April 26, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born in Dunkirk, NY on September 5, 1952 to Martha Gens and the late Ronald Gens. Sally was a 1970 Festival of Grapes Queen as well as Miss Sheridan; representing Sheridan in the Stockton Gala Days. She graduated in 1974 from Fredonia State College then worked as an individual representative for a cosmetic company.
Sally enjoyed baking and cooking a variety of traditional foods. Her cookies were outstanding; especially the Christmas variety. Sally’s love for horses was unparalleled. Her current horse Bailey was her most prized possession and companion. She loved to go on trail rides with her friends when she would visit them. Another passion of Sally’s was taking in stray cats and feeding them at her horse barn.
Sally is survived by her husband Joseph Aranzullo, Jeana (Chris) Gullace, Joseph (Christie) Aranzullo. She is survived by her sister Wendy Gens of Sheridan, NY, brother, Monte (Jane) Gens of Sheridan, NY and a brother Martin (Cindy) Gens of Huffman, TX., three grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers; Curtis, John and her father Ronald. Sally was a woman full of life whose smile was infectious. She appreciated the outdoors and was always up for an adventure on her horse! She will be sadly missed.
