Mark W. Gloss

He was born December 22, 1958 in Jamestown, the son of DeWayne and Carole Johnson Gloss.

Mark had been employed at Empire Development in Mayville.

He was a member of the Samuel Derby post 556 American Legion, Frewsburg.

Mark was a talented carpenter having done work for Quality Markets and G.L. Olson. He was quick-witted, loved to laugh and make others laugh.

He had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.

Mark will be missed by his family and friends and is now in Heaven with his mother that he loved so much.

Besides his father DeWayne (Peggy) of Fredonia, he is survived by his wife, Catherine Zuck Gloss; his step children: Porsche Miller, Matthew and Kala Porter, Tricia Proefrock, Aaron Johnson, and Judd Carlson, His granddaughter, Nya Bryant that he loved spoiling, a brother, Kelly (Lori) Gloss, a sister, Linda Gloss (Ken) Eckman, many nieces and nephews, and a close friend Pennie Myers.

He was predeceased by his mother.

No visitation or services will be observed.

The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Frewsburg Fire Company or Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg.
