Omayra Benejan, 40, of Dunkirk, NY, died on June 15, 2019, at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY, following a long illness. She was born in Anasco, Puerto Rico on October 11, 1978.
Omayra was educated in Puerto Rico and was a housewife.
She was a member of the Sanando Corazones Church of Dunkirk, NY.
Omayra is survived by her mother, Linda Tubens Benejan of Dunkirk, NY; her son, Jomal Rivera of Dunkirk, NY; 3 brothers: Alberto Benejan of Dunkirk, NY, Daniel Benejan of FL and Jose Benejan of FL. She is also survived by six nephews and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Benejan, who passed away on May 21, 2014.
The service for Omayra will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 East Main Street, Fredonia, NY, with Pastor Tomas officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, prior to the service.
Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R. Fantauzzi, Owner and Director.
