Earl W. Covert Jr., 84, of Cottage, NY entered into rest July 9, 2019.
He was born February 15, 1935 in Smethport, PA to the late Earl Sr. and late Goldie (Robinson) Covert.
Earl worked as a Forensic Aide for the NYS Dept. of Health in Gowanda, NY for 34 years. He was a member of the Conewango Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Perrysburg Conservation Club and the North American Hunting Club. Earl loved hunting, fishing and wood crafting.
Earl is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, his children Jason (Hilary) Covert, Brent Covert, Jodi (Steven) Post and Robin(Rick Freeman) Covert; grandchildren Joshua Covert Freeman and Anna Covert; his brothers Phillip (Barb) and David Covert; sisters Shirley (Richard) Elliot, Darlene (Louis) Desautell and Marlene (Daniel) Textor; a sister in Law Alice Covert also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Michael Covert
A Memorial service will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Conewango Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 5492 NY-241 Conewango, NY at Route 62.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any humane society or the Conewango Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
