Richard H. Victor, 86, of Fredonia and Gowanda, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Gowanda, NY, son of the late John and Katherine Victor.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lenora Victor, and six brothers and sisters; Frank P., Stanley (Elaine), Blanche (Gabel), Sally (Elvin), John Victor, Jr., and Helen (Kubasiak). Also surviving are his Sister Dorothy Selan, and son and daughter-in-law James and Kathy Austin and family Chris, Jason, Tyler and Anna.
He was a life member of the Gowanda American Legion Post 409, Gowanda VFW, Post 5007, and the Slovenian Club, Gowanda, NY. At Richard’s request there will be no visitations and a mass will be held at St Columbans Retirement Home on August 24 at 9:30 with a gathering in the Anniversary room after mass. Any donations in memory of Richard Victor may be made to the St. Columbans Retirement Home, 2546 Lake Rd., Silver Creek, NY 14136.
