Gloria G. Martin

Born Feb. 16, 1926 in Buffalo a daughter of the late Maximilian “Max” and Wanda Zgoda Karr. She was a 1944 graduate of Angola High School.

Gloria was employed as a telephone operator for NY Tel and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Wife of 59 years to the late Richard E. Martin, who she married Sept. 9, 1950 and died Mar. 18, 2009; mother of Linda (William) Wierzba of St. Augustine, FL and the late Dennis

Martin; grandmother of Christopher (Jessica), Darrell (Torianda) and Jesse Wierzba; great-grandmother of Alexandra and Mareck Wierzba, Keyonta Cooks and Layla Crawford. Also survived by nephews and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg. Memorials to; Cassadaga Memorial American Legion 1280, Cassadaga, NY.
